Love it! I was having a hard time with overText, but TextOverlay works perfectly.

To use TextOverlay with a textarea tag, wrap the textarea+the TextOverlay element inside a container div. Use CSS to give the container div a position:relative and the TextOverlay element a position:absolute;top:0;left:0

This works with plain input elements as well, so you can do it all with two CSS rules.
